FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions Australian owners ask us most.
Speed and the 24-hour aim
Do you guarantee funding within 24 hours?
No. Funding within 24 hours of your first application is our aim, and it's realistic for many deals when the application is complete and the security is clear. Valuations, payout figures from other lenders and missing documents can add time, and we'll tell you honestly when that's likely.
Can I get a business loan the same day?
Same-day funding is possible for smaller unsecured amounts, and $20k to $250k is possible on the same day for property-secured loans when everything lines up. It depends on the time of day you apply, how quickly documents arrive and the lender's settlement cut-off.
How fast can larger amounts be funded?
Property-secured loans of up to $5m are possible within 24–48 hours on a straightforward deal. Larger amounts usually need a full valuation, so allowing a few business days is sensible.
Can I apply at night or on the weekend?
Yes. The application is online and open around the clock. Applying in the evening means your file is waiting at the top of the pile when the team starts, which is often the quickest way to be funded the next day.
Eligibility and amounts
How much can my business borrow?
Property-secured business loans range from $20,000 to $5,000,000. Unsecured, cash flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses typically range from $5,000 to $500,000 and are sized on turnover and bank statements.
Do I need property to get a business loan?
No. Unsecured and cash flow options are available for trading businesses. Property security opens up larger amounts and can help when trading history is short or credit is patchy.
Can I get finance with bad credit?
Past credit issues are considered case by case. Property-secured private lending in particular tends to focus on the security and the plan to repay rather than the credit score alone.
Can you help if I owe the ATO?
Yes. ATO debt is considered case by case, and funding can be used to clear a tax debt so the general interest charge stops accruing. Many owners use property-secured finance for this.
Is this finance for personal use?
No. We arrange finance for business purposes only.
Applying and privacy
Does enquiring affect my credit file?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check only happens once you decide to go ahead with an application.
Will lots of lenders contact me?
No. We don't spray your details around. A real person works on your situation and approaches the lender that suits it.
What documents will I need?
Usually photo ID, your ABN or ACN, recent business bank statements and, for property-secured loans, the property address, a rates notice and your current loan statement. Some larger loans also need a BAS or financial statements.
Why should I fill in the form accurately?
Because the details you give decide which lender we approach first. An accurate amount, purpose, property position and credit history means we can match you properly the first time, which is what keeps funding fast.
Costs and terms
Why don't you publish interest rates?
Every business loan is priced on its own circumstances — the security, the amount, the term, the trading history and the credit file. A headline rate would mislead more people than it helped, so we quote on your actual situation.
Are there fees?
Lenders charge fees that vary by product and deal. Every fee is set out in the offer before you sign, and you can ask us to walk you through any of them.
Can I repay early?
Many short-term and property-secured loans can be repaid early, sometimes with a minimum interest period or an exit fee. Check the offer, and ask us if anything isn't clear.
